BookReview: The Alchemist

So I just finished reading The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho. It was chosen by one of my book club members for us to read. It was a good  little read and inspires you to focus on what it is you want in your life. It isn’t a book I would normally choose to read, but it was nice. If you need a little motivation this book is good to help you get out and achieve your personal legend as Paulo calls it.IMG_7822

Short Summary:

This book is about a shepard named Santiago. He became a Shepard because he wanted to go out and see the world. His parents wanted him to become a priest but they supported his decision. His father gave him money to buy sheep and become a Shepard. He traveled from town to town to be able to see what was out there and at the same time make money by selling his sheep’s wool. One nigh he had a dream about a treasure that intrigued him. Through his travels Santiago meets
important people that help him find the treasure he dreamed, and at the same time challenge him to see if he will go through anything to achieve what he wants.
